Solace: Comfort or consolation in a time of need or difficulty.
What is Hospice?
Hospice provides care for those who are facing a life-limiting illness that is palliative in nature, not curative.
First, we address your physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Next, we determine how to help your family and caregivers. Our hospice team provides care for the “whole person.” It is a comprehensive, medically directed, team approach. We are a team of healthcare professionals, and we provide comfort and enrich your quality of life. Hospice is not a place, but rather a patient centered and family focused type of care. Care may take place at the your personal residence, nursing home, assisted living personal care home, or wherever you reside. Our approach is individualized to meet your individual needs, in order to provide the best possible care. Together, we create and maintain a plan to maintain comfort, manage symptoms, and promote quality of life.
Hospice allows you to make your own decisions on how and where you wish to spend the time in your life.
At Solace Hospice, we focus on helping you truly live every day to the fullest in comfort and with dignity.
Why Choose Solace Hospice?
We are dedicated to providing quality care that we would expect for our own loved ones. Help is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Choosing hospice is not giving up, and hospice does not hasten or postpone death. Hospice is an increased level of care for the patient and the whole family. At Solace Hospice, we provide many benefits that are not possible in the traditional health-care setting. We expand our focus to more than just your illness to care for your emotional, spiritual, and social needs, as well as physical needs. Our goal is to maximize the quality of life for the time available, and to help your loves ones cope with the inevitable conclusion to life’s journey.
What Can Solace Hospice Do For Me and My Family?
In the midst of a difficult time, Solace Hospice is here for you and your loved ones.
Hospice treatment is geared towards your comfort, not towards curing your health issues. This requires assistance and care unlike the care you have received in the past. Your customized treatment plan is specific to you and your loved ones. The plan is established with input from everyone you choose to have involved with your care. Communication with your Solace Team is always available.
Bereavement counseling and support for your family will be critical. Solace realizes that everyone handles the passing of a loved one differently. The Solace Bereavement Team helps your loved ones handle their grief in their own time, and in their own ways. Our ongoing bereavement program provides unlimited visits to support your family. We support The Dragonfly Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to those who are grieving.
Your Solace team is never more than a call away.
Concerned about you. Concerned about your Solace.

"Kudos to Solace for the excellent care of my sister. They were tops! Doing her care with such compassion! Her care and hygiene was always a concern with them. Baths to mani/pedis really made a difference. Thanks so much for the care you delivered! Will never forget you guys."
